Become a Member of the Association Pro Milk Mali

Pro Milk Mali supports the local agriculture sector in Mali. The agriculture sector contributes to about 40% of the GDP^[1]Gross Domestic Product of Mali and 80% of Malians work in the agriculture sector. 50% of the Malian population lives below the poverty line. By supporting the local agriculture sector we can directly contribute to improve the welfare of locals.

Pro Milk Mali follows in all projects a long-term approach, which is based on sustainable and economic principles and triggers the participant’s own initiative. Pro Milk Mali finances its work through donations and aims to organize projects that can be self-sustaining in future. Our team conducts all administrative work on a voluntary basis.

As a member of Pro Milk Mali you support our initiatives in Mali regularly and therefore contribute on a long-term basis to successful projects in Mali. Furthermore, you will get invited to the yearly general assembly of the association and get first hand information about Mali and our initiatives.

Membership Fee

You can become a member of our association by selecting the corresponding membership. Membership fees are:

Single/family membership CHF 100.– / year
Teenager under 18 years / students CHF 40.– / year
companies CHF 1000.– / year

Become a Member

The cantonal tax office of the canton of St. Gallen excluded the association Pro Milk Mali from its liability for taxation. The exclusion for taxation was declared on harmo-nized national taxation law and is valid in each canton of Switzerland. The deductibility of donations is regulated on cantonal taxation law. The national number of the tax register of the canton of St. Gallen is: 60408.
